9/11 was a day I will never forget. The highlight of my day was the release of Bob Dylan’s ‘Love and Theft’, which I picked up at a record store, and then went to a music store for guitar strings where some old lady stated’ now there’s a big guy that will go overseas and fight those terrorists!” I had no idea what she was talking about and didn’t want to get into that conversation, so I ignored her with a fake smile and got what I needed and headed home. It wasn’t until 5:30 in the afternoon when I found out about the planes hitting the buildings. I was completely clueless as to what was going on and it shocked me that I could proceed throughout my entire day with that much insanity going on outside of my radar. Reminds me of where we are now as a nation and it saddens me for everything we’ve lost since that time due to the Patriot Act.
For the 25th anniversary of that gloomy day, I am releasing ‘Doom & Gloom’, a collection of songs that provided the soundtrack to my life since Covid, a long and bumpy ride which is promising to become a bit bumpier before it's all over. No matter what political or religious spectrum you may side on, I hope that you can keep an open mind for an honest listen. While it might offend some (which is easy to do these days), I am always open to conversation on the current state that humanity now finds itself as we teeter on the precipice of our oncoming perilous destruction.
For the record, I reject artificial intelligence, ‘data centers’, flock cameras, golden domes, tesla robots, digital currencies and pretty much everything else that these psychopathic pedophiles have ready to unleash. The world is a madhouse that I never belonged to, and drinking myself into an endless oblivion was the flag that I flew, but the times we have entered deserve something more focused and fearless than drinking myself to death in the face of absolute worldwide tyranny. The ship is sinking, my friends, and I plan to keep playing until the end, just as the musicians aboard the Titanic did as it plunged into the icy depths of their oceanic deathbed.
On April 1st, 2022, I gave up the booze and jumped into the lifeboat that is Jesus Christ, who rescued me from drowning in despair and an almost certain death, and for that, I forever owe him my life.
